About Us

Our Mission:

To spread the musical talents of as many talented artists and bands as possible while taking as little away from said artists and bands. To help each musician to come that one step closer to achieving fame and fortune and to help each musician spread his or her music.

Our Method:

We provide free advertising for any band small scale enough to fit our requirements. If one of our bands does make it on a larger scale, we will keep them here to boast the fact that we were right. But for the most part, only smaller bands will be listed here.

Why?

Why? Because we can. The Underground Music Repository was started because every musician needs whatever help he or she can get, and we have a way to give them that help. Do we really need any more reason than that?

More in depth, Chris began the site because he wishes to pursue a career in music but has little musical talent. Instead, he aspires to be a musical manager, and figures this could help him on his way. Walter decided to help Chris after he was added to the list. Parker came shortly after as he has many of the same aspirations as Chris.
