About ten minutes ago, I was looking around on the internet, reading some rants, when I decided to check in on my personal favourite site, Rants of a Ninja Viking, when I was appalled to see that his site had been closed down. And it wasn't his choice.

          That's right, Ninja Viking has been the victim of censorship. Those bastards at Blogspot/ Blogger closed his site. Sure, there are blogs out there that are full of porn and blogs out there that give out serial numbers to programs and even blogs out there that are nothing but personal attacks. Forget all that. It's definitely Ninja Viking's site, a page created for the sole purpose of humour, that should be shut down. I mean, how dare he say that he would make a good villain? I am disgusted that he bought a knife. And his story about the obsessive fat chick? He was such an asshole, how dare he have a girl obsessed with him? That sonuvabitch. But wait, that can't be it. In Blogger's Terms of Service, they clearly state that "By their very nature, Blogger.com and Blogspot.com may carry offensive, harmful, inaccurate or otherwise inappropriate material, or in some cases, postings that have been mislabeled or are otherwise deceptive. We expect that you will use caution and common sense and exercise proper judgment when using Blogger.com and Blogspot.com." Oops, guess they're hypocrites.

          We can't just let censorship like this continue. It will start with offensive blogs, then soon sites like Geocities and Freewebs and Bravehost will be censoring, and eventually even paying website operators will need to be less offensive, under fear of legal action. I urge you to attack the people at Blogger's Help Group. If we don't do something censorship will just be one step further ahead.

          If you have a Blogspot account, you should close it. Move to some other company. Wordpress, LiveJournal, anything but Blogspot or Blogger. Any site that would censor it's users is not a site that deserves visitors. Just because Blogspot is run by a bunch of people suffering from sandivaginosis doesn't give them any excuse to censor anyone.

          Ninja Viking, and anyone else who uses Blogspot for that matter, if you read this, I would suggest using Wordpress, it seems to be one of the easiest and quickest to use. My site used to be on LiveJournal and they were great, but they're a pay site now. Even so, I would still recommend them over Blogspot.

          The extent of my outrage reaches no limits. The next time I see a Blogspot, Blogger or even Google employee, I take no responsibility for my actions. In fact, by reading this line, you yourself agree to take responsibility for my actions. Have fun serving 20 to life.
