Scientology: Oppressive Cult or Dangerous Scam?
As you all should know since you all probably watch shit like Entertainment Tonight and follow the lives of celebrities like Tom Cruise, many celebrities have turned to the 'religion' of Scientology. Well, at least religion is the word they use. The better word would probably be cult. Or scam. Or maybe oppressive alien obsessed morons who think that they can get away with just about anything. Yeah, that's one word now. Cause I say so.
People like Tom Cruise and John Travolta and the Pope are sucked into Scientology through brainwashing. The scientologists are very convincing people apparently. They managed to get a lot of celebrities involved with them. I'm sure it had nothing at all to do with the publicity that comes with announcing something like your conversion to Scientology, they genuinely believe that 75 million years ago an alien dictator blew up a shitload of volcanoes with hydrogen bombs. Yeah.
But besides the lack of realism involved in the whole 'religion', there's the fact that they're operating outside the law, and it's being allowed. They disconnect people from their family and friends, they threaten anyone who opposes them, and let's not forget that huge incident involving about 5000 of their cult followers trying to destroy government documents. If someone decides they want to say something bad about Scientology, what happens? They get threatened, sued, and all kinds of other malicious things. Hell, they'll even go against the beliefs of the cult to punish someone who has done them wrong. So let's see, not only are they a violent cult based on beliefs that are less believable than Christianity, but they're also hypocrites. Enemies of the church, or 'suppressive persons' as they call them, "May be deprived of property or injured by any means... May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed." Of course, that goes against their rule of being in good 'public relations'. The rule was apparently removed from their books. Then again, they still enforce that rule, so that's most likely bullshit.
Speaking of their books, they're copyrighted. You aren't allowed to quote from a Scientology book. It's illegal as the contents are protected by copyright law. According to them, the contents are 'trade secrets'. Well if they're trade secrets, wouldn't that mean that you're a business and not the religion that you claim to be? I guess that gets rid of your tax exempt status, doesn't it assholes? Pick what your group is, and stick with it. When it comes to the law, messing with words like that isn't allowed.
And if you're a scientologist, you also aren't allowed to go to a psychiatrist. Doesn't that make a lot of sense? You've got a whole group of people insane enough to buy into this Scientology bullshit, and they aren't allowed to get help. That's just great. No wonder we have nut jobs like Tom Cruise jumping around like schizophrenic maniacs and ranting on about how great Scientology is.
And you think that's the worst of it? No, it's not. The worst part of all of this, is that these bastards are trying to censor the internet. They tried to force the deletion of their documents that had slipped out, they tried to force the deletion of the video of Tom Cruise going insane about Scientology and they keep trying to silence the people that decide to oppose them online. Well you know what? I completely support Project Chanology, the people that are fighting for freedom on the internet, the people that are opposing the Church of Scientology with such force that they have no choice but to retaliate. I support them 100%.
Now, upon seeing this the church will probably decide to censor me. Well try me assholes. I will not be censored by the likes of an oppressive cult. I also will not be censored by a religion, business, scam, or even by oppressive alien obsessed morons who think that they can get away with just about anything. In fact, you morons have pissed me off to the point that I think I'm gonna go off and buy myself a Guy Fawkes mask so I can support Project Chanology. See you at the next protest assholes.
