| The Xbox Is A Gaming System, The Wii Is A Toy | ||||||||||||||

I finally got around to getting a Nintendo Wii, and I have to say it was a huge disappointment. I was expecting loads of kickass games where I could move the weapon of my choice any way I wanted. I was expecting to be able to participate in the game. Instead I got Wii Sports. You don't get any freedom of movement, it doesn't matter how you move your arms, the game only sees that there's movement, not the specifics of the movement. The Wii might be able to redeem itself, if Zelda: Twilight Princess turns out to be any good. If I get to move the sword however I want, then I will have the interaction that I was looking for. Although, the Wii still loses because the graphics on the games suck. I'm not the type of person who buys a game and looks only for graphics. That would be stupid. But when I get a game I want it to look at least somewhat good. Hell, you look at Donkey Kong Country for the Super Nintendo and you've got better graphics than most of the games on the Wii. This is where the Xbox comes in. The Xbox has amazing controls, great graphics, and it actually has good games. Never will you see Grand Theft Auto on the Wii. Nintendo is afraid of releasing any games that could get them bad publicity. Microsoft is a huge corporation, and really couldn't be hurt by the publicity that one series of games gets them. The Xbox kicks ass, and the Wii sucks ass. I even decided to do a nice comparative analysis.
As you see, the Xbox is the better of the two. Maybe Nintendo would do a better job of selling the Wii if they changed the logo to something more fitting.
