Will Ferrell, You Are NOT Funny
Ok, I am tired of every day, turning the TV on and seeing an advertisement for some shitty Will Ferrell movie. The man is not funny! The last funny movie he was in was the Anchorman, which was only moderately funny and only because of the retarded guy. Even he got old after awhile. The only thing that saved the movie was Jack Black punting the dog off of the bridge. But back to Will Ferrell.
I mean, just look at four of his most recent, not to mention most shitty, movies. First we'll look at Kicking and Screaming, a story about a soccer team, and their incompetent coach who eventually leads them to victory. Then there's Talladega Knights, a story about a racecar driver with personal problems, who eventually ends up victorious. After that there's Blades of Glory, which is about two skaters who were formerly competitors but are now forced to team up, who eventually end up victorious. And lastly and most recently, there's Semi-pro the story of an eccentric singer who buys a basketball team, and eventually leads them to victory.
Do you idiots see a pattern? When Will Ferrell is involved in a movie, it seems more like the script is written with a photocopier than with a typewriter. And the acting, it's even worse than the plots themselves! Will Ferrell could take a really funny line and turn it into something that upon hearing, babies would cry. That might sound pretty awesome because, I mean, who else do you know that can make babies cry just by talking? But it's not. It's awesome when the crying babies are intentional, but when it only happens because the babies have witnessed the slaughter of a joke, it is far from awesome.
Will Ferrell is about as funny as leprosy, except without the possibility of seeing someone with missing limbs. I mean, cmon, how cool would it be to see some guy lose an arm or a leg? You'd be horribly scarred, but at least it would be better than watching a movie starring Will Ferrel.
